Matthew
28:18-20
- Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven
and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples
of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the
very end of the age."
Do you feel like you are being called to do something that will
make a difference, but you don't know where to start? I think
that we have all felt that way at some time in our lives. Becoming
ordained as a Chaplain and minister will take you far beyond your
wildest imagination, and it will make you a much larger person
in the spirit of the Lord, than you ever dreamed you could be.
As children of God if we see someone in need and have the ability
to help them and don't, how can we say that the love of Jesus
abides in us? Never forget that what we go after here on earth,
determines where we go in the hereafter. We make a living from
what we get, but we make a life from what we give. Anyone can
give without loving, but no one can love without giving.
As
ordained chaplains and ministers the compassion, mercy, understanding
and love we show for those in need will be the only bible many
will every get a chance to see. A wise man once said that our
decisions determine our direction, and our direction determines
our destiny. Let your direction be true, and let your destiny
be one of greatness for the glory of God's kingdom.
James
1:12
Happy are those who remain faithful under trials, because
when they succeed in passing such a test, they will receive as
their reward the life which God has promised to those who love
him.
Chaplain
Fellowship Ministries is about the great commission, going out
into the world, spreading the gospel, going to where the suffering
and pain is, not waiting for them to come to us. We have been
given a vision and a wonderful calling to build a mighty ministry
for the Glory of the Lords' Kingdom. The apostle Paul said that
all believers in Christ are part of "one body". And
if one part suffers, "all the member parts suffer".
Therefore, we must ask ourselves: Do we grieve when a brother
or sister is in trouble? Do we experience sorrow and pain in our
hearts when a child of God is stricken with afflictions and trials?
If not, we must get on our knees and ask our Lord and Savior to
help us become the kind of people who can understand and share
the pain and suffering of others.
When
Jesus asks us to follow and obey Him, His call comes with the
promise of the protection, guidance, sustenance, and rest that
we need at that time in our lives. His call is suited to our needs,
He knows us intimately, He walked among the poor, the out cast,
the forgotten and the lost. Please remember one thing, if you
don't remember anything else! You make a living from what you
get in life, but you make a life from what you give of yourself."
We as chaplains must have Jesus as our Lord and Savior in our
everyday lives, without Him we have nothing, without Him we are
nothing.
James
2:13
"For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no
mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment." Does anyone not want
a merciful judgment from God, before whom all must stand?
Becoming
Ordained: Those who join Chaplain Fellowship Ministries become
legally ordained as nondenominational chaplains and ministers.
This gives them the freedom to minister without all the politics
and religious entanglement that may have kept them from following
their calling in the past. Becoming an ordained chaplain and minister
opens up a whole new world of opportunities and a totally different
way to reach those who are in need or suffering. Many pastors
who have become ordained as member and chaplains start feeling
the blessings once again that they had forgotten, or had not felt
in many years. I can assure you the chaplains of Chaplain Fellowship
Ministries not only understand the Gospel of Jesus, they walk
it daily in a major way for the Glory of the Kingdom of God. Will
you come join us, you can, and will make a difference! Something
we all need to think about, "to the world we might be
one person, but to one person, we just might be the world"
Special
Note to All Those Called to the Ministry: Never let your lack
of education or life history keep you from pursuing what GOD has
called you to do. It has always amazed me when some people who
call themselves Christians go out of their way to try and belittle
and hurt another servant of GOD. How can anyone say that they
have the love of Jesus in their heart and turn around and attack
those who are serving in His ministry. Many have no idea that
70% of Chaplains serving in the world today do not get paid; they
are volunteers working to help make this world just a little bit
better for those who have nothing and no where to turn in their
time of need. I don't know about you, but I will always do anything
and everything I can to stay faithful to the Gospel of our Lord
and Savior, and the ministry for which He has called me to.
Hebrews
12:15
- "See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that
no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many."
In
conclusion: Chaplain Fellowship is about the Lords' people
who have been called and who have walked the walk in life and
felt their own pain and suffering. Chaplains reflect the Lords'
love and mercy by showing Samaritan type love and kindness to
others at all times. When chaplains meet others who are suffering
or in need, we must live the parable of the Good Samaritan. Chaplains
get involved and reach out to those in need, or some times just
lend a sympathetic ear. Please always remember, we come just as
we are. We look forward to speaking with you about your calling
and how we may be able to help you further your reach in the ministry.
God bless you and thank you!
